Leah Rosato is a Melbourne based fashion designer who graduated with distinction in fashion design from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in 2018.
In the Fall of 2018, Leah attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where she completed her final semester of study. While in New York her work was selected to feature in the AAS Brave New World Exhibition, and she was honoured as a Dean’s List recipient from the School of Art & Design for her outstanding academic performance.
With a strong interest in swimwear, Leah focuses on bringing unique, slow-fashion swimwear to the market. An alternative to mass-produced garments, all LEAH ROSATO pieces are individually crafted and made to order in Melbourne Australia, created through ethical and sustainable practices.
Leah believes in the importance of encouraging women to feel comfortable and confident in themselves, and focuses her design process around this. Aware of the challenges many women face feeling comfortable and confident in swimwear, she aims to create pieces that inspire women to feel happy and confident in their own skin.
